What We Support
The Great Yarmouth Grammar School Trust supports organisations and individuals in two ways. First through the allocation of grants and secondly through the awarding of prizes to students at Foundation schools.
The Foundation awards grants to the schools and colleges in its membership through a competitive application process. These grants are aimed at supporting extra-curricular activities such as school visits and equipment for school clubs and societies. The awards are not aimed at providing funding for activities within the regular school curriculum.
The Foundation disburses its income from established prize funds annually in the form of nominated funds from the donees. The original Grammar School prizes awarded to pupils in the School have been allocated to the later components of the Foundation schools themselves. These are awarded annually by the former Grammar School (Great Yarmouth Charter Academy), the Girls High School (Lynn Grove Academy) and the East Norfolk Sixth Form College, which took the two schools' sixth forms.
